I'm not here to show off but to ask for feedback if anyone wishes to provide it. I've put a suggested design up for others involved in the project to consider. I've filed a few questions here and will probably be asking questions over at the myBB forum as well.
The proposal is for a new forum providing support for the use and development of OpenOffice.org software. Yes, the software is named after the website.
Since the final forum will have to be hosted elsewhere, I'm concerned with layout and design at present rather than looks. (The hard heads in the project will not give a second or even first thought to looks.) Such things as number and size of categories, the pitfalls in providing a board for guest posting (and how to overcome those), anything I seem to have overlooked.
The url uses an acronym rather than a recognisable name because it's for project use only: http://oooug.createmybb.com/ so I'm not asking for feedback on that.
