How can i change my picture at the top of my fourm

u mean the logo? acp-> templates, expand find header and replace the url of logo

Its easier way than that and it doesn't even require a template modification. In the Admin Control Panel, go to themes, Modify / Delete.
Edit the theme you want to change the logo of. In the very first box in a sub category labeled %uFFFDTheme Options%uFFFD, there should be a text box labled %uFFFDForum Logo%uFFFD. Just change the URL to the URL of your new logo.

I just followed the first instructions in this thread and they worked. Only I added a heading and introductory text rather than an image because I don't have an image yet. I also enlarged the menu text for my middle aged eyes. I'll paint the whole board eventually. Just give me time.
