This describes the steps needed to create a new theme with a new set of templates in CreateMyBB. Dont forget to see Justin's tutorial for creating a new theme

To start off you need to make a new set of templates to work with. You do this by going here
Admin CP > Templates > Add Set.
Call the template set whatever you like, and click the add template set button. This will give you a default set of templates to model into what you want. But its no use unless you make a theme to match.

Go to Admin CP > Themes > Add.
Give your theme a name and select an existing theme to base the new theme off of. Your new theme will now have all the data as its parent theme. Before you customize it, you should tell it which templates you want to use. On the page you are currently on, click the go button next to the theme you just created. Under theme options, change the template set to the set you just made.

You should now sort out the images. As you don't have write access over the default images folder, your going to have to change it. If you have an image hosting account at CreateMyBB you can use that. Just change the Image Directory field in your new theme to the directory of your image hosting. The standard url of which is
http://www.cmybbimages.com/users/<your username>/
Remember to change <your username> to whatever your username is for the image hosting account.
If you dont have an image hosting account you can make one here.
http://www.cmybbimages.com/
You can use another host to host your images. However, if you do. Make sure the host allows hot linking, stores all your images in the same folder and doesn't rename your images.

This page discribes alot of useful information for themers
