Why won't the youtube plugin work?

I turned on the youtube video plugin, but when I try to post a video all I see is a white box. I know I have the right tag cause I used the video tag [youtube][/youtube].

Why doesn't this plugin work?

Yeah but I turned it off, then turned it back on and I still see a white box instead of the video.

Are you using the correct thing inside of it? I believe you are only supposed to put in the portion after the ?v=

u can put directly embeded codings instead of putting links if you want 2 show video on ur site...
