Hi Jon,

Any word on this? It seems to be spreading, we now have a bunch of lower case a-hats followed by a Euro symbol. These are sometimes followed by one or two other random characters.

I haven't heard of a solution yet sadly. I tried one thing but didn't help.

I did a utf8mb4 conversion on this forum.
Let me know if it fixes the issue here. And if so will rollout to all forums on our system.

It doesn't seem to have worked. Certainly, existing occurrences are still there. I haven't seen any new ones but that could be coincidence. 

I have noticed that only posts and sigs seem to have the capital A-hat and templates have the other characters. I don't know if that means anything.

Existing won't be fixed for sure.

The problem seems to have stopped on new posts. I'll clean up my templates manually.
