OK so I'm thinking about creating a forum through here but my only question is how would I be able to use my own domain? I purchased one through Godaddy.com already so that's taken care of; I just need help with linking my custom domain name. Thanks!

Yes you can use one from godaddy. Follow the domain manager link in your admincp
