The only thing I still don't get, is why you get 5 Mybuck$ deducted when giving a negative rep.. if you aren't allowed to use this feature, why don't you delete it?

(I also don't like the reputation systems, I deleted them from my boards, cause this will result in flaming etc.)

I think it's the other way around, if YOU get YOUR rep lowered, then YOU lose 5 Mybuck$.

You get -5 MyBuck$ if you receive a negative reputation point, not if you give one. Most people here are serious about reputation points, and won't give people negative just to make them lose their MyBuck$. That doesn't really matter anyways, because 5 MyBuck$ isn't alot.
