No. It seems to happen at random intervals. It may just be a coincidence that it happens after the tasks run and may actually have nothing to do with the tasks themselves.

Apparently I should be able to access something like AdminCP >Configuration>Forums Display Option> Hide Private Forums, but I'm not seeing this in my Admin CP

I just deleted the custom templates you had in your site hopefully that helps your issue.
Again only affects new posts.

That would be under AdminCP >Configuration> "Forum Home Options"

Found it and that's already set to "yes", so that's not the issue.

What's your forum url? I can check if you have custom templates and remove those that exist might help.
