I'm currently trying to fix this issue

So I go to the individual sections in the templates, but when I click either of the save options, it just reverts the changes. Is there something I need to do to enable me to save template changes?

There shouldn't be. You can't change any template?

I'm simultaneously trying to get the shoutbox to work, but I know I can save changes to the Index template, but if I go to either of these that the guide says to fix:

error_nopermission
header_welcomeblock_guest
member_login
portal_welcome_guesttext

they just revert back.
