Well, I try to post a topic in my own forum and this message comes as an result . . .

"We are sorry but we cannot process your request because the subject for your message is too long."

Anyone know how to solve this?

EDIT - Another problem (since no one is in, I'm editing so I don't make double post)

How can I edit the portal one in the forum? Like, where can I add annoucement in the portal?
The first question is self exclaimitory. Your subject was too long! If I'm not mistaken, there is an opition in the ACP that allows you to change the max length. I do not understand your second question though. Sorry Sad
Uhm, okay, that must be because of the Thai characters, but where in the Admin CP is that? Where I can change the maximum length?

And for the portal, it's like this. Uhm, I activated the Portal Redirect in the Plugin Manager, but don't really know how to edit the portal itself. This part: http://kaizokuni.createmybb.com/portal.php. I don't know where I can add the announcements in this part, so can anyone tell me where can I go to edit the portal in my forum?

Hope you understand it, because I don't know how to say it as well.Sad
Nope, I was wrong, there is no option in the ACP to change the max amount of subject characters. I thought you were talking about the actual message lengths.

As for your second question,

ACP -> Board Settings -> Change -> Portal Redirect -> Modify settings

Hope I helped!
Uhm, okay, so there's nowhere to change the subject length.

And for the portal, thanks but . . . uhm . . . I didn't really see where I can add the announcement to the portal though.
Wait, i'm confused, what do you mean by adding an announcment?
Really, I don't know how to phrase this myself. Uhm . . .

(Grab a forum from one of the top ten)

How do they make the ones in the middle, like the WWelcome ChaseMe!", something like that? - -
That is probably done with his own php script but I'm not sure.

I'm not good with websites.
I might be wrong but which ever forum has the ID "1" will havee all first posts of new threads in that forums shown on the portal. This could be wrong but give it a shot. Make sure the forums you want announcements to be is Forum ID 1.
Okay, I got it now. Thanks a lot.
